Ingredients
- 4 flour tortillas (medium sized)
- ½ cup of pizza sauce + more for serving
- 40 sliced of pepperoni
- 4 string cheeses
- Cooking spray
- 1tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1tbsp garlic powder
- Pinch of salt per roll
- Fresh basil
Instructions
- Wrap your tortillas with a damp paper towel and microwave for 10-15 seconds or until the tortillas are warm and pliable. This makes it easier to roll them up.
- Smear 1-2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on the warmed tortillas. Top each one with 10 slices of pepperoni, followed by one whole cheese stick.
- Fold tortilla over, tuck in sides, and roll up tightly. Place on a cookie sheet or in the basket of an air fryer seam side down. Continue stuffing and rolling the other three tortillas.
- Air fry on 450°F for 8-10 minutes or until the outside is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from air fryer and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve whole or sliced in half with extra pizza sauce on the side for dunking. If desired, garnish with fresh basil.
TIPS
- I like to slice each roll in half to make it easier to eat or to be slightly more presentable as an appetizer.
