Pumpkin Espresso Martini
Clearly we’re in the midst of pumpkin season and it’s important to not only eat flavored pumpkin treats but to drink them as well. The pumpkin puree in this recipe provides a nice richness and creaminess to the cocktail without adding any dairy. You certainly could add cream if you wanted but I’m a fan of this martini just the way it is.

Ingredients
- 2 tsp pumpkin puree
- Pinch of pumpkin pie spice
- 1½oz vodka
- 1oz Kahlua
- 1oz freshly brewed espresso (allow to slightly cool if you have time)
- More pumpkin spice and espresso beans for garnish
Instructions
- Add martini glass to freezer to chill while preparing your martini.
- Add ice to your cocktail shaker and add all your ingredients. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Shaking and the freshness of your espresso is what helps create that beautiful foam on the top of your martini.
- Strain into your chilled martini glass and garnish with extra pumpkin pie spice and 3 espresso beans.
- If you do not have an espresso maker, simple use fresh coffee. You could even make a small pot extra strong.
- Having the coffee/ espresso fresh is what contributes to the nice foam on the top of the martini so do make sure you use fresh.
