Super Easy
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 chai tea bags
- ¾ cup milk
- 2 tbsp sweetener (hazelnut)
- Star anise for garnish
Instructions
- Boil one cup of water and steep two chai tea bags for 8-10 minutes or according to the instructions.
- Remove the tea bags.
- Froth the milk until it’s foamy and pour directly into the cup of tea.
- Garnish with star anise and enjoy!
TIPS
- I used whole milk for this recipe, but you can use any milk alternative like almond, oat, or soy milk!
- I got my bagged chai tea from Trader Joe’s.
- I used my espresso machine to froth the milk, but you can also use a handheld frother; just make sure to warm the milk beforehand. Do not boil the milk; only allow it to simmer.
