Ingredients
- 4 frozen breaded cod filets
- Old bay seasoning
- 4 brioche buns
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 lemon juiced
- 1 tbsp dill relish
- 1 dash hot sauce
- Salt and pepper
- Leaf lettuce such as butter or head lettuce
- 2 carrots matchstick cut
- Red cabbage thinly sliced½ cucumber thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425° F or follow the instructions on your frozen cod package. Sprinkle the cod with some old bay seasoning and set on a sheet tray. Bake according to package.
- While the cod is cooking, prepare your tarter sauce by mixing the mayo, lemon juice, and dill relish in a small bowl. Taste for salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Slice your cucumbers, carrots, and cabbage. Set aside.
- Build your sandwich by placing lettuce on the bottom bun, followed by the fish filet. Top the fish with the carrots, cabbage, and cucumber. Slather the top bun with tartar sauce. Serve immediately.
