Ingredients
- 1 store-bought pizza dough
- ½ cup BBQ sauce
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 cup canned or fresh pineapple tidbits
- ¼ red onion diced
- Pinch of red pepper flakes
- 5 slices of bacon crumbled
- 1 fresh jalapeno thinly sliced (optional)
- 1 green onions thinly sliced
Instructions
- Spray your cold grill with nonstick grill spray or olive oil. Turn on your grill and preheat to medium heat.
- On a floured surface, roll out your dough to the desired size. Transfer to a pizza peel that has been lightly coated with cornmeal. This will help your pizza slide onto the grill nice and easily.
- Transfer to grill and allow to cook for 3-4 minutes or until the dough begins to bubble. The pizza will easily remove from the grill once the first side is cooked enough.
- Remove from grill and flip so the raw side is face down on your pizza peel with cornmeal. To the cooked side, add a thin layer of BBQ sauce, the cheese, ham, pineapple, red onion, jalapenos, and red pepper flakes.
- Lower the heat to medium-low and place back on the grill with the lid closed so that the cheese melts and the other side of the dough cooks through. About 4-5 minutes.
- In the last 1-2 minutes, top the pizza with the crumbled bacon and green onions.
- Remove from grill and allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing so that the cheese does not melt off.
- Enjoy!
