Ingredients
- 3 heirloom tomatoes sliced
- 16oz fresh mozzarella sliced
- 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
- Salt + pepper
- 2 tbsp good olive oil
- Store-bought balsamic glaze
- 1 bunch fresh basil
Instructions
- Begin by slicing both your tomatoes and cheese in thin slices that are about ½”-1”thick.
- On a large dish, alternate the tomatoes and cheese until you’ve used them all up.
- Give the fresh tomatoes and cheese a good drizzle of olive oil and then season them with red pepper flakes and salt/pepper.
- Drizzle entire dish with balsamic glaze.
- Garnish with the basil by tearing or leaving the basil leaves whole. If you have fresh oregano on hand, this goes perfect with the salad as well.
- East fresh or store covered in the fridge for 1-2 days.
