Hot Chocolate Mix
I love taking a classic and elevating it, and this quick hot chocolate mix is so easy and customizable! I recommend making a large batch and storing it in the pantry to use throughout winter. You can also make a few batches of this to give as gifts. Customize with marshmallows, cinnamon or even some chili powder to make it extra special. It’s rich, delicious, and so easy to make.

Tips
Things you can create with your hot chocolate mix:
- Hot chocolate Rice Krispie Treats: Using the standard Rice Krispie treat recipe on the box: Simply add a ½ of a cup of your mix into the melted marshmallows and butter. Add your cereal and stir until fully combined. Off the heat, add a handful or two of extra mini marshmallows, and some chocolate chips (if you have some). I top mine with chocolate sprinkles.
- Hot Chocolate Popcorn: I’m a huge fan of making all different types and flavors of popcorn. I use one of those popcorn makers on the stovetop. I pop my popcorn as usual with a few tablespoons of butter and a dash of salt. When the popcorn is done, I transfer it to a bowl and sprinkle 3 tablespoons of the mix all over the popcorn while it’s hot. I also add chocolate chips and marshmallows while it’s warm. Toss all together and allow to cool. This also makes a great treat or gift for the winter months!
