Ingredients

  • 2 green apples
  • ½ lemon
  • 1 11.9-ounce bag of milk chocolate
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil (coconut, vegetable, etc.)
  • 1 cup caramels (melted)
  • 1 ½ cup pretzels
  • sea salt

Instructions

  1. Dice apples and put them into a bowl or container. Juice the lemon and toss the apple pieces in the juice.
  2. Allow apples to set in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
  3. In a bag, smash pretzels into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In a bowl, combine chocolate and oil. Melt in the microwave in 30-second increments. Stir after each increment until fully melted.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the melted chocolate over the sheet and spread until the pan is completely covered.
  6. Then add the pretzel pieces and apples. Drizzle the top with the melted caramels and sprinkle with sea salt until fully coated.
  7. Set in the fridge until the chocolate hardens. Then break the bark into pieces and enjoy!

TIPS

  • It is best to eat this recipe the day it’s made. The bark slightly softens as it sits.
  • You can use the microwave or the stovetop to melt your caramels.
  • The lemon juice helps keep the apples from browning once they are diced
