Ingredients
• 1lb ground chicken
• 2 tbsp tandoori spice mix
• Salt and pepper
• 1 lemon juiced- ½ for ground chicken mix, ½ for yogurt sauce
• 2 green onions sliced
• 1 cup Greek yogurt
• 1 bunch fresh mint
• 1tbsp ground cumin
• Naan bread
• ¼ red onion thinly sliced
• ½ cucumber thinly sliced
• Cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl mix chicken, tandoori spice, salt, juice from half a lemon, and green onions until fully incorporated.
- Divide into 4 and make four patties. Set aside.
- In a small bowl combine the yogurt, mint, lemon juice, cumin, and salt. Set aside until you build your burger.
- Preheat your indoor or outdoor grill to medium heat. Chicken burgers are very soft and tend to stick so I suggest spraying your grill or grill pan prior to putting them on. If you have time, you can even let them sit in the freezer for an hour to firm up.
- Grill for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the chicken is cooked through and you have grill marks. Remove from the grill and throw your naan on to warm up and slightly toast.
- To assemble, place one chicken patty on the naan bread. Top the chicken with the onion, cucumber, and cilantro. Dollop with a hearty spoonful of the yogurt sauce.
- Fold up and eat
